Bullshit. Why not just fucking ignore the fucking threat letters? ITS NOT LIKE SOMETHING WILL HAPPEN. NOTHING WILL HAPPEN. You are just making the retarded sender happy with that action. The sender can't do shit except send threat letters so why not just ignore the threat letters? Fuck.
A round of applause for these people for giving in to a childish terrorist's demands instead of putting more money into people's safety.
Edit: And another one to the police. Because putting an online pirate in jail takes 2 days and catching this psycho has been impossible in 6 months
Lmao this is all true right here nuff said
That is all good and all, but the problem is, he has attempted murder. He sent ... what, sulfur-something, a very dangerous substance (it's been used in a lot of suicide cases, where it has also killed off other family members in the vicinity), so the police can't exactly give it a blind eye. Other than that, I agree. He should've been caught by now.

Like i said, i might have misunderstood since english isn't my main language, and i might have been in a rush (I'm replying to you now while i'm in-game on league of legends), It is partly my fault (and i have the guts to admit that) but i can't be the only one here who's overreacting.
Well, i can tell you my story in details, if you want to know i can post on your wall or send you a PM, like i said, i'm trying to avoid a ban here, i can still post the story here if you want, but i'd prefer the other two options.

I just corrected you, you thought FriendlyMatch was a male.
and in most cases no, when i talk to someone on the internet i don't take gender into consideration, but there are times when i do, depends on the situation.

P,S i edited my post up there, just letting you know.

@symbv
FriendlyMatch's post was an overreaction to mine, or i'm the only one here overreacting in your eyes?
So no story from you I guess? That's fine.

Wow so in other words no matter the circumstances you're just there to do your job as the internet police. Okay.

No, i stated in my original comment that i realized this anonymous guy who's sending threats is considered a hero to some people and that i find that hilarious, that morning i came across a group of people who seemed happy about Comiket's decisions, then i was called out FriendlyMatch, who seemed to be a bit butthurt about my comment and started talking some irrelevant stuff, and that's how it all started.
this isn't the first time you get over excited when the subject of fujoshi, fangirl or female fans is brought up either (i mean FFS, you called out someone just a minute ago, yet you try to deny it and you act as if you're some internet justice hero or something), or any subject for that matter, which is why i asked earlier what's your story. i can tell you mine, just ask.

Okay, like i said the other day, i might have misunderstood (English isn't my main language, that might have something to do with it).
So we're cool now, we done? That's good, i still have a certain someone to take care of though lol.

I did not have time to overreact with all the corrections I had to make whenever you twisted something I said again.
The fact remains that you have totally twisted people's words at least ten times, have called different people names just for disagreeing with you and reacted to arguments with nothing more than things like "you are delusional" and "you're misinformed".
In your last post you actually wrote in a more respectful and normal way than you have done since many posts before that. But I have replied to such normal posts before, only to have my words twisted again and again, while being called all matter of things.
I don't see the point in hating fanservice of any kind and I also don't see a point in trying to justify hating fujoshi. They are weird in most people's eyes. But other anime fans are weird in most people's eyes too.
Feeling the need to justify hatred of a certain group never leads to good things. Especially when it's a minority in a minority.
Tolerance and peace, hippie signs out ;)*
*this is me making fun of myself, not of you or anyone else.

I reacted to your overreaction, as did jmal and a bunch of others. Actually if you had not overreacted, the thread would have stopped growing several pages back before either jmal or I was involved. This is not the first time you get over excited when the subject of fujoshi, fangirl or female fans is brought up.

Question that you should as well ask yourself.

Question that you should as well ask yourself.
Did you ask yourself tho?
Dec 13, 2012 5:47 AM by Downgrade355
have you ever thought that you might be overreacting yourself?
Dec 13, 2012 5:46 AM by symbv
It is a question of tolerance. We do not want the world to go as we want or think the same as we think, but we are against people who are being intolerant and attack people just because they dare to imagine something that he does not approve.
Well said.

"Women get ecchi stuff stuffed down our throats all the time, canon or otherwise. It's on almost every anime site, often as a gimmick on the homepage even, on the cover of every mainstream manga/anime magazine and in every anime store staring right in our faces"
Well, make your own anime site and post whatever you want in it, maybe those anime sites you happen to talk about are made by guys who like fanservice, maybe the covers of those mainstream manga/anime magazines are meant or the male audiences, maybe those anime stores know what's going to get them money and know what their costumers want.
So let's take a moment to clear things up, you know that people dislike your hobby and you don't mind that, but you don't like it when they overreact, right? i completely understand where you're coming from, and i agree with you, but have you ever thought that you might be overreacting yourself? it might not look that way to you, but it does to other people.
"The only person here who hates them that much seems to be you"
Don't jump to conclusions now, i never said or implied that i hate them. i was just stating that generally, inside and outside the anime fandom, people seem to dislike fujoshi and their behavior, that's a known fact, then i proceeded to explain to you why and you said they are overreacting, but you never even thought that maybe your little fandom itself maybe overreacting. again, not all of them, i know there are mature people within the fandom, but there are those who give them a bad name.
@symbv
intolerance? But you think you're tolerant? you think your attitude and your mindset is one of a "tolerant" person?

The financial losses to Comiket are nearly $120,000 in both refunds and extra security costs.

Also at the end of Comiket, it was known that 3 letters of threat were left on in the deserted area where KuroBas doujin groups were supposed to set up booths. According to police it is very possible that they were from copycat people instead of the real terrorist.
