Second Season of OreImo Due in Apr 2013

According to Dengeki Online, Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai. was announced to be aired from April 2013. The production studio is A-1 Pictures. Aniplex explained the reason for the studio change that AIC Build has been busy in producing other titles. Producer Kashiwagi Shinichiro said the staff of the first season have been gathered to A-1 Pictures for the second season.

i think A1 pictures is better than AIC build so i dont mind as long as they keep the same style. i cant wait to see more kuroneko and ayase, which was awesome in the 10th novel ^^

Watched the first season. Normally not my cup of tea, but I did quite like it! Will definately give season two a try as well! Ah, I'm excited >u<

im so ready, the studio change didn't do anything to the art so im cool, i just hope the guy translating the novels would hurry up so i can read what happens in this season before it comes out D:

Because novel 12, which is the final novel is due to come out around then. That way we won't get an anime original ending.

BTW .. to all the wallies who are wondering about whether the VA's will change .. VA's have NEVER been fixed to a particular studio. Shows are produced by a production committee who then contract out the show to a particular studio.

I think that the second season is going to be even better than the first, just from my reading of the summaries of the novels. In particular #11 which covers the backstory between the siblings dislike of each other is particularly good.
