Oooh this looks like a nice harem. A bunch of cute girls with art that looks like Seitokai, ftw.

There is no "later". But this show is not "just" harem (if it's harem at all), it's trap. And that's a whole different thing and has its own fangroup. Probably more compatible with female viewers as well.. dunno.
Well, the main series is "web" anyway, which might mean it will be some 3minute long episodes.

You obviously haven't read Asa Made Jugyou Chu!, main is a trap as well and it's not really intended for a female audience, it's for males who like both straight and lesbian relations.

Read my post again. I never said it's not for guys. It should simply work better for girls this way. Better than a normal harem with one guy and several girls. And that would obviously influences sales. I'm not too sure about this though. "Shounen" doesn't mean "it's not for girls". It only means "it's for guys". Quite a difference.

this is off topic but with so many harem series in the summer line up, how will anime sales fare?
I know otaku have money but for so many anime? or will they buy the ones they think are really good and buy the rest later>

While different shows may look similar to people who are either not interested in or don't like them, people who are watching them closely enough to consider buying them are going to be aware of their real differences.

Campione and Ebiten, for example, may both classify as harem (or not; that is based on my very rudementary knowledge of both), and someone who really hates harem will assume they're "the same".

But for someone who doesn't dismiss such shows out of hand, they'll undoubtedly be different experiences. Magical battles in one, school clubs, otaku humor, and crossdressing in another. Really, that's not all that similar. Same reason why, say, Joshiraku and Yuru Yuri♪♪ won't necessarily cannibalize each other's sales.

Summer will probably be like most seasons. One or two shows will somehow make an extra big splash among otakudom and dominate the sales charts, a few more will have very solid sales in the 7-10k range, a bunch more will be an average 4-7k, and then there will be the small fry log 3k or less, or not rank at all.

yea cuz sometimes I really get confused with harem anime. in the sense, DxD and Haganai is going strong while Onii-chan to koto, Kore wa Zombie don't sell well. is it because they had bad adaptations or...?

or is it just what appeals to the otaku more?

what has that 'extra' to make it a 7k?

Plus Ebiten is a Shonen and all.

It won't be bad at all, expect loads of anime and gaming references since this revolves around female otaku.

the second i saw the pose the girl was making i instantly hated it

Fugly chara design is fugly.

Generic harem is generic.

May 30, 2012 3:15 PM by Aristote

Cool. Another generic high-quality harem. It will probably have God-tier writing and lots of substance. It'll also probably have fanservice that will definitely cover for any flaws it may have.

I was hoping for students learning about space while slowly strengthing their relationship with a common interest.

Then watch Sora no Manimani if you haven't already. It does an amazing job of doing just that. That's literally the exact premise.

Thanks, it looks interesting.

Might be worth noting that this is a TRAP thing.

If you look at the Anime picture here on MAL, with the 7 protagonists on it, "he" is the one in the upper left corner. If I can trust Anidb's character page that is.

Well the synopsis of the manga provides nothing of note. Can anyone who has read this provide a better synopsis?

Noya Itsuki just started his school year at the Ebisugawa High School and since he has always had a fascination with space, he decides to join the astronomy club. However, he mistakenly walks into the all girls Otaku Club. He notices that the members are really weird, but Itsuki has yet to realize that he isn’t in the astronomy club. His life is about to get complicated by being surrounded by so many girls.

Off the anime's page, much better.

Otaku chicks? I'm in.

I was hoping for students learning about space while slowly strengthing their relationship with a common interest. Looks like this one is just going to be another "LOL guess what anime we are referencing??? SO FUNNEH xD we talking about a anime in another anime how random lulz!" anime for otaku to fawn over, I've had enough of that in Haiyore.
