Actually, I don't. I can't see how an adaption could even begin to match the greatness of the manga... The art is way too beautiful to be animated and I fear that all the great moments would be diminished by adding voices or sound effects. I just really like it as it is now, black and white, with unmoving art. That does way more with me than an adaption, it limits the experience, you know? It's hard to explain, but I like the feel that the manga gives me, and just fears the adaption would be unable to do the same.
However, I could be wrong, but for the same reason I hope some other manga don't get an adaption as well.
Well said, some of the 'silence' panel for purely illustration will be hard to replicate in anime.

Yeah. Look at the Blade of the Immortal adaptation. Samura has a unique style, and that was completely lost in the anime.
