is the other monogatari story still about araragi & senjougahara? if its so, that willbe great..
Kizumonogatari? It's a prequel focusing around Araragi, Shinobu, and Hanekawa. There's a lot more monogatari novels after this though and I wouldn't be surprised if 4-5 of the unannounced ones will end up being the rest of the story.

Doesn't it say that the 10th one will be an original anime? So there's only 5 more slots. And I'd personally love to see Maniwagatari animated too.
Oh yeah, I forgot about that. Well, as long as it's from Nisio
If I get to see Maniwa Houou again then I'm game for Maniwagatari

What are the chances of Nisio's first series Zaregoto being animated? It looks really intriguing
I've only just heard of this, going to jump onto the series and hopefully it'll get animated.
I'm wondering how much of the monogatari novelisations will be actually animated, if he only announces 6. Or am I misunderstanding something here?
It's sad that only two novels of Zaregoto got localized though
If what I've been hearing is right, and the 6 slots will be for the -monogatari series only, then they could more or less animate up to Koimonogatari, which is, I think, the 4th to the last book in the series.

Does anyone know what comes after Nisemonogatari? I had a look around and it looks like all the novels are either prequels or side stories for Bakemonogatari.
Kizumonogatari should come next as a movie later this year. That's the tory about Shinobu and Koyomi.

But yeah. Good news indeed.

If you think about it, bake 1 and bake 2 are two full length novels and they put it into a single season, same with nise. I think they'll be able to do it.
The only problem I have is that I don't want them to go into a 26 episode season. I think that'll be overkill.
