AIC To Produce an OVA of Classic Super Robot 'Atlanger'

According to the official blog of Japanese toy company Aoshima Bunka Kyozai, the classic plastic model series "Atlanger" was announced to get an OVA adaptation. The 15 minute long OVA will be released at Comiket 81 in December. The production studio is AIC and the theme song singers are Kushida Akira and Watanabe Michiaki. Part of the OVA was inserted into the OP animation of Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai episode 8.

Atlanger is a plastic model series first released in 1975. It had not been animated but the robot has a perennial popularity among middle aged fans.

This wings is silly, but overall it's looking good, Getter-alike oldstyle. But it's not serious now, so the anime will be parody or with renewed design of robot.
