FUNimation Entertainment Acquires Soukyuu no Fafner and Hottarake no Shima: Haruka to Mahou no Kagami

According their official press releases, FUNimation Entertainment has licensed the Soukyuu no Fafner series and movie and the movie Hottarake no Shima: Haruka to Mahou no Kagami (Oblivion Island: Haruka and the Magic Mirror).
The titles will all be released next year.

About dam time..now might actually be able to watch the Fafner movie. Hottarake looks interesting, guess I'll check it out.

fafner is actually really good. even though i have seen it, it is good that they are licensing it.

Memo to self: Buy volume 1 of the Geneon release of Fafner. I still see this volume on store shelves and ebay. I have the other volumes, but always forget to get this one.

Sadly, this is the case, who knows maybe Funi will be nice and actually SUB THE DAMN MOVIE. Someone needs to do it after all.
