In all honesty, I'm pretty happy for Ouvertüre. I'll be looking forward to it.

Now they can release HOTD season 2

Although it's good that Overture is getting a dub, it's a shame that the dub of the original two seasons are going to get voiced over. I actually liked it a bit.

Where does it say that it's gonna get voiced over?cause it doesn't say in the press release that it'll get a new dub.

Yeah why would Sentai waste money on a re-dub when the original dub from Geneon was just fine?

i didn't see anything about the 2 seasons getting redubbed. only overture is the one that's getting the dub treatment.

anyways, it's great that it's been rescued (again lol), i've always wanted to buy the show so why not? :D

Whoops, I guess I misunderstood. I only thought that maybe since they're going to do an Overture dub, that maybe they won't use the same cast or something and would redo the original dub...

Sentai has the license but BangZoom! is doing the dubbing. The only reason I can think of for that is that they'll get as much of the original cast as possible. The original cast also looks like a BangZoom! group, so yeah.

Nice!

I want a season three though...

man i never really watch this anime yet

I bought the original Geneon releases of Rozen Maiden and Traumend along with the nifty red velvet collector's box. I have no reason to buy it again, but am looking forward to being able to own Overture.

Don't necessarily care about the anime itself, but there are still many signifcant things in regards to this license

1-Desu

2-It's very reassuring to know that while despite Funimation no longer showing interest in Geneon/ADV releases, others like Rightstuf Nozomi & Sentai Filmworks still intend on rescueing them.

I'll be especially estatic if Sentai confirms a Hajime no Ippo (AKA Fighting Spirit) or Fushigi Yugi rescue from Geneon X3
