Second Season of Tantei Opera Milky Holmes Announced

According to the official twitter, the second season of Tantei Opera Milky Holmes was announced. It will be aired from January 2012.

I'd prefer no more mare protag, plus Japan prefers Milky to stays moe-blobs... dunno about the summer spin off's reaction...

The summer spin off is a hit and miss for me, though.

Please, I write you because wasurena/kiteseekersi fansub/s have announced that they delay indefinetly the translation of the series. If u know some friend (of a fansub) or a fansub you think they could continue the project, ask them for help. If no fansub continue the series it won't be translated untill a lot of time!! (could be until his end or more). Please, search in forums, fansub webpages, try all you can. I'm spanish speaker and i don't know where the english community meet (in spanish comunity we all meet at the same web) i've been searching, but i can't find anything :_(. thank you for any help ^^

The game had a male protagonist, how unfitting for the series, I'm glad I didn't play it, but I'll be watching the anime.

Game has a male protagonist. Anime does not. Anime is my choice by default.

This. Is why I watched the anime (other than the fact it was moe and pretty random, lol).

I actually don't attribute its sucess to being as obscure as it is over here. I am one of those people who normally don't go for this type of Anime, but the fact that it parodied and pocked fun of one of my favorite genre actually drew me into the series. I also felt it was making fun of the fanservice genre too, rather then playing to the fanservice people. Both of those things are going to draw attention when it normally doesn't.

Anyways, I've heard that there were changes from the original. However, I am not sure how adaptations from visual novels to Anime has worked in the past, pretty much.

I also didn't expect this to sell well at all and always felt like an underdog for watching and liking it. Seems like the moe is still strong with the Japanese, unfazed by all the hate in the west.
