Urobuchi Gen To Release New Anime By the End of 2012

According to Weekly Playboy News, scenario writer Urobuchi Gen plans to release some new anime by the end of 2012. He was asked to write a sequel to Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica but he has been irresolute about the offer.
He said he wanted to be a novelist but "I have never read any serious literature. I was only interested in entertainments with oppai (breast) and explosion." "It's nothing special for me to make cool girl characters armed but that's not the case with others. I put a bow, swords and guns to the scenario of Madoka as a common interest with Aoki Ume, who had been obsessed with Monster Hunter game as well as I."

But, (Saya no Uta spoilers)

And Madoka might be less overrated if you're already expecting cute things to be eldritch abominations and for there to be some strange connection between them and humans that doesn't end in the humans' favor. Basically, you know what Urobuchi is going to go for, but you don't quite know how just yet. :)

Overrated -> #7 -> Code Geass R2. If anything up there is overrated, that's it. I'd say pretty much everything else up there at least deserves some recognition. But not that. Such a clusterfuck.

I'm glad theres no sequel for Modoka currently planned. The way it ended and all, it would just seem unessicary.

If anything, I wouldn't mind seeing some kind of prequel or spin off.

I liked Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica but I'm not sure if I would want to see a sequel. The end was pretty satisfying.

I'm fine with it I guess as long as its better than s1. On the other hand, I'll be really interested in watching a prequel of madoka magica the main characters would be charlotte and the rest of the witches that we saw in madoka magica and that would be another tragic anime, more darker than madoka.

Or air it late in Summer season, then delay the ending until as close as possible to 12/21.

Regardless, he's not fooling anyone, I think that we all know how it's going to end.
