OVA Series of Hakuoki Announced

According to the official website, a five-volume OVA series of Hakuouki was announced to be released from this early summer. The five main characters; Hijikata, Okita, Saito, Harada, Tohdo will be featured in each of the volumes.

I can't wait until it is out and subbed :) Especially that the first 2 episodes are about my favourite characters. I don't really understand people who hate the show but as the French say: "chacun à son goût" (to each his own).

XD I can't wait to see it! I wonder what it'll actually be about but I'm excited for it, especially episode two!

I wonder who's gonna sub it. It better be sub because I'm getting tired of watching it raw and not understand anything. And it better not be a troll sub once it's out.

Also wow haha, this is receiving so much hate? I wonder why :|a I personally am quite looking forward to it. For more info. you can check out the Hakuouki community of LJ. I think they said something about each ova being based on the characters ending in the games. Not sure- something along those lines though. So technically they aren't just milking it. Also, to each his own, there really is no need to fling insults around. If you don't like something, that's fine. You are entitled to your own opinion but you don't need to insult the show based on your not liking it.

#40 post of this forum has the release date of each arc (yes, based on each character).

Actually, first OVA comes out in two weeks.

Yay more eyecandy.

The second season wasn't really that good, but I hope the OVAs will be better.

Hmm I wonder will the OVA series be retold through the character's point of view instead of Chizuru's? Or are the OVAs going to follow each of the characters paths from the game?

This is really exciting news. I really loved the full Hakuouki series so this is definitly something I'm going to keep watching for. I better tell my friends if they don't know already!
