Akamatsu Ken Announces Official Launch of J-Comi

Akamatsu Ken held a press conference with Horie Yui and announced that he will officially launch J-Comi service on January 10th 2011. Love Hina manga has been downloaded 1.7 million times in a week and 9% of the readers clicked the advertisement banners. Akamatsu said Shueisha (Shonen Jump) and Kodansha (Shonen Magazine) will cooperate with J-Comi.

Upcoming titles of the second beta test
a manga serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2007
an one-shot by Shinjou Mayu
"Kotsujiko Kanteinin Tamaki Rinichiro" (1996 - 2003, Super Jump)

From the second beta test to be held this month, companies will pay for the advertisements and the authors will receive all the revenues except the commissions paid to the PR agency.

It's also called "a" one-shot, it's because no matter how much one states it's an O, it still SOUNDS like Won, the same way hour is an hour because it sounds like Our and Yellow sounds like Jellow.

I downloaded those volumes of Love Hina, heck I even went to the underwear site (personalized underwear, it was interesting)

A Shonen Jump series from 2007, wonder what it is.
