Synopsis

"You were the only one I didn't want to find out about this desire..."

10 years have passed since Takuma lost touch with his good friend Yuki, who left for Italy to become a Cellist. Now working as a home aid, Takuma is shocked to find his next patient is none other than Yuki himself. Yuki, who is now semi-blind after an accident left him injured and his eyes trapped behind bandages until his surgery. Due to mixed feelings about their reunion, Takuma keeps his identity a secret as he tends to the injured Yuki. But how will he react when he learns that his friend was in love with someone when they were kids... and still holds a torch for that person even now?

In comparison with most yaoi, this series deserves 9 of 10 stars. It is heavy on story and feels quite realistic. There is NO RAPE! Issues such as prejudice against homosexuality are raised and discussed by the plot itself as much as by the characters. I found it sweet and refreshing and would gladly have read more. And I may be wrong, but the manga-ka seems to be the same as the one who calls herself Yana Toboso, the creator of Kuroshitsuji/Black Butler. There are images that could easily be leftover sketches from this manga, and one that is ...

Preliminary (12/21 eps)
It's a shame that this manga is not more popular. I think it deserves more attention.

It has such a good, deep and realistic story with great characters. No rape, no "let's get to bed!" every two pages. Instead you will read about a very cute, realistic couple that deals with the problems of being gay today.

I really enjoyed this manga series. We do not have much yaoi mangas these days that are not focused on sex. So I really recommend this to anyone who loved "Hidden Flower".
