In comparison with most yaoi, this series deserves 9 of 10 stars. It is heavy on story and feels quite realistic. There is NO RAPE! Issues such as prejudice against homosexuality are raised and discussed by the plot itself as much as by the characters. I found it sweet and refreshing and would gladly have read more. And I may be wrong, but the manga-ka seems to be the same as the one who calls herself Yana Toboso, the creator of Kuroshitsuji/Black Butler. There are images that could easily be leftover sketches from this manga, and one that is

almost identical to an image in the first art book. Her heroes tend to look like Ciel and Sebastian, with a bit of Bizarre Doll mixed with Druitt and Undertaker in this one. Even the way she draws herself at the end is reminiscent of her cute little devil images. I can't prove it, but I think the manga-kas are one and the same. Just an added bonus. i would have given ten stars if the characters had been fleshed out just a teensy bit more. They are pretty good already!
