I don't have much of an introduction for this manga since I'm writing this review as I read, so let's just get started!
Story - 8
Kai, the dorm pup, observes the students of both the boys' and girls' dorms as they all take turns walking and taking care of him. I found this story to be both fresh and unique. I can honestly say I have never read a story or manga partially-narrated by a dog! The romance in this manga is very sweet, very simple. I enjoyed all four chapters, although the last one was a little hard to understand. (But that could just be
...
me, find out for yourself.)
Art - 8
I've always enjoyed Taamo's art, even when the story was severely lacking. The girls are very pretty and stylish, with big eyes, perfect hair, and cute clothes. (I've said that before!) The boys in this manga looked a lot more detailed in this manga than they did in Onegai, Sensei. Kai, the doggy, was very well drawn also.
Character - 8
There was no character that particularly bugged me, thank God. There's really not much to say about the characters since they changed each chapter, but they were good overall. Kai, a reoccurring character (Can animals be characters?), was loyal and friendly, even possessive of his favorite girlies (He didn't like guys too much.)... Taamo did a good job of matching the classic, happy-go-lucky personality that most dogs seem to possess.
Enjoyment - 8
Wow, am I about to give this manga straight 8s? I think I am...
Overall - 8
