So this had potential to be really interesting and good. I loved the characters and I could really relate to the main character. UNFORTUNATELY Chapter 9 is the last chapter! and since it says to be continued at the end but its been years I think it got canceled before it could even really get its footing.

I gave it an Enjoyment score of 6 because I REALLY did enjoy it and I would almost recommend it to people if the ending wasn't so bad. and I cant blame the ending to much because it dose not seem like that was suppose to be the ... ending. Unfortunately it was though.

that being said I was glad I read what I could it had the potential to be a good series.

I stumbled on this manga when I saw a YouTuber saying that chubby waifus need more love. And being chubby myself, that statement really makes me feel happy so I decided to check this manga. This manga isn't too bad. But my only problem with it is that I wish it was longer. It's very odd that 9 chapters were only there after 4 years had passed.

Story - The story is actually very good and very interesting. (Spoiler warning!) It's about a girl who just got depressed after feeling betrayed when she learns that the popular girl was just using her to get some ... men. Sadly on the road, she meets up with a hot and rich guy who makes a contract with her. She becomes the guy's maid so she can diet and she learns more about him. Then some random guy appears out of nowhere, and from the cliffhanger, I think that he is also using her too so he can get together with the popular girl.

Characters - The characters are very interesting to me. The exceptions are, the popular girl is annoying, she ruins the good name of "Chiaki". But if the manga was continued, I think she could be fleshed out and has her own insecurities herself. The other exception is the random guy, he says all those nice stuff, but in reality he's probably very manipulative on the inside like most people do.
The MC for me is very relatable, I relate to her struggles and insecurities that I have. The rich guy is also very interesting, on paper he seems to be this very narcissistic man but that is only a facade to conceal his insecurities. The maid of the rich guy is probably like an Albert to him.

Art - It's not bad. The art is very expressive but sometimes it feels a bit lacking at times. But all in all, I think I probably am too immersed in the story to think about the art. xd

Enjoyment - My problem is WHY ISNT THE MANGA UPDATING? T-T IT'S LITERALLY 4 YEARS NOW!!!

Okay, so I have a little bit of a contradiction in my review's rating, and I'll explain later why I rated this one a 6.

Story- 8
Okay so the story is basically about a fat girl who is trying to become attractive with the help of a tsundere prince and busty maid. All is well and good in this story, no stupid shoujo actions, nothing bad, and in fact it's quite a good read.

Art- 7
I personally enjoyed the art, but it felt like the backgrounds were almost non-existent, which doesn't usually bother me, but in this one it did and I can't explain why.

Characters- 9
I ... honestly really loved the tubby girl's personality, and even the tsundere prince's personality, and the only character I didn't like was the b*tch best friend (which you'll see in the first, and last chapters) but even she was well done and while I didn't like her she wasn't a sh*tty character.

Enjoyment- 1
Now here is where my rating takes a nose dive. This series could have easily been a 30+ chapter manga (or if the author wanted to compact it they could've done it in 12) but instead, like most great manga, it was axed after 9 chapters, and they LITERALLY LEAVE IT ON A CLIFF HANGER, and this cliff hanger will never climb that hill as he's been dead for a while now. I loved reading it up to chapter 9, but the ending of it ruined this manga for me. Normally, axed or rushed endings aren't terribly, like you can see it coming but it's okay because they get 2-3 chapters to quickly wrap things up (like Beezlebub), but not with this one, as it ends sharply at 9 chapters.

Overall- 6
So, I've rated this one a 6, even though I really liked it. But because of an axed ending, it was ruined for me, and it truly breaks my heart to give it such a love score when it could have easily been in my top 10 all time favorite mangas, but it ended before it got a chance to take off, which is like shooting a firework into a campfire, sure the resulting explosion could be cool, but you mostly miss the actual firework explosion and you just wasted a firework doing your stupid stunt. In summary, I loved this manga, but hated the ending it had as it couldn't even be considered an ending in the slightest. So read it if you want, but just stop maybe by chapter 7 to avoid the heart break.
