This manga tries to do alot of things at once - to present the reader with omnious and mysterious place, which is connected to our own world as well and which also is guarded by a certain type of superpower users, working by teams of two, and by doing their job, the author wanted to flesh out and personalize these personalities and quirks. On paper it sounds like an okay premise, but the realisation is ... not really that good.
The story is presented in the "monster of the week formulae", which makes the feeling of reading this manga more like a shounen battle

series, and considering it's few chapters, it's not the most resourceful way to display character development, it's more about a presentation of flashy casting and chanting of spells. The art interested me in the beggining, but I didn't like the ecchi-fanservce alike approach with at least half of the characters, it kind of removed even the small bit of personality they presented. Also the character design is not really that memorable, but even tho I had some problems with it, the art is certainly the best thing going for this manga.
Character-wise, there is nothing that much interesting, as a concepts, or ideologies, almost all of the characters behave one dimensionaly with a quirk, which they execute with remarkable cuteness or coolness, depending on the character we're talking about. None of them seem to be that much interesting, they're either tools to progress the story or a way to show some fanservice for the reader.
I certainly didn't enjoy it, it lacked in everything a good manga needs to elevate itself from the other simillar titles, therefore I'm not sure it's worth your time to check it.
Drug-on is a manga which is short, and it doesn't have much going for it, so I don't really reccomend it to anyone in particular, probably people who really dig the slick and cute artstyle for what it is might enjoy it, but if you're looking for a compelling story and relateable characters, look away from this one.
