When I first read this manga what really struck me was the unique art style. It's far different from the typical black and white associated with manga, incorporating bright but not overwhelming colors that work well together. Its distinctive choice of color contributes greatly to its charm although it may not suit everyone.
Each of the characters has distinct personalities and traits with nicknames to match making them easier to remember.
The main set of characters are Galko, Otako, and Oujou. Based on appearances and stereotypes alone, Galko may seem like your typical "Gal" girl with blonde hair, lots of makeup, and big boobs but that's simply

not the case. Galko is a sweet, charismatic girl with a pure heart. Otako is reminiscent of a stereotypical "otaku" with a nerdy look and a loner-type attitude. Despite what her appearance suggests, she's a sociable bookworm with a knack for dirty jokes and sarcasm. Oujo literally translates to "princess" and it couldn't be more true to her character! She's living ridiculously privileged life and is often oblivious to Otako's antics. Ojou is a painfully honest girl with pure intentions and she balances the contrast between Otako and Galko's personalities.
The chapters are short. The humor isn't particularly unusual to that of the "slice of life" genre but it can be incredibly dirty...or about as dirty as innocent teenage girls can get. If you're not comfortable with light-hearted jokes about periods, sex, or anything relating to that you might have a difficult time reading this. Mind you, this manga does not contain anything graphic in relation to those topics. It's a very girly manga but if you don't mind that I'd definitely recommend it.
