This is my first review I've ever written and published online.
First impression of looking at the front cover and reading the story summary made me curious about how it would work out, as a fantasy/drama.
A story about an angel falling in love with a devil isn't really new, but usually not this bad. To be honest, if it wasn't for the fact that I bought the books myself and I don't wish to waste paper, I would have burnt the books shortly after I read them.
Here are two reasons;
1. The fictional world is both flawed and limited, without saying who's able to do what. I'll
...
only say that, there is at least one character who can revive the dead, but is unable to heal injuries that he/she has sustained. As stated above there are devils and angels, the only difference here is the names, otherwise they are both equally evil.
2. The art is morbid at best, it's like a rushed production with the only goal to be mass produced. All characters looks practically the same, there are some minor differences like hair styles and the characters outer appearance, like length and clothes/accessories. Besides the issue with the characters there is practically nothing else that looks acceptable, the buildings are rushed, smaller objects like weapons are horribly out of proportions and so on.
To end I would like to say that there are hints of romance, but for obvious reasons that's overshadowed by the amount of blood, gore and violence in the story. The recommended age for this manga is 16, I would make a recommendation and change it to 18, just for the sole fact that the amount of violence and the way they're killed, is by far more violent then most action mangas.
Now this is just my opinion and I'm not stating it to make this manga lose popularity. Hopefully I didn't offend anyone too much, but if I did, I sincerely apologies for that.
