Hanashippanashi, the title's translation in English turns out to be "Leave it as it is". I should have listened to the the title and turned back and refrained from reading this manga. I should have left it as it is. They say that there is a fine line between fiction and reality and this author has violently erased it.
Now "Hanashippanashi" is an anthology. If you don't what that is, then it is a collection of various short stories compiled into one place, and usually those stories have nothing in common to each other. And that's the reason I despise anthologies, because even though it
...
manages to tell various stories at once, those stories are often lackluster and poorly written. Same for the case in this manga. The short stories present in this are a packet full of surprise. It is like a lottery, you can get anything. You can get a chapter so absurd, that you laugh yourself silly, or you can get a chapter so short it ends before you start. There are only some chapters worth mentioning which were good, others were just confusing and some even downright bad. But they all follow a similar theme, to be as ridiculous as possible and can't forget to be as vague as possible to create that "I'm 14 and this is deep" energy. The sky is the limit for the imagination used by the creator. And you could infer from the tone of the review that I certainly did not enjoy that creativeness much. An example to explain that creativeness is,
Well spoiler for ya-
*A cat gets pregnant due to a lion faced doorknob and gives birth to two kitten with the face of a lion.*
And yes this is a chapter in the manga. Now if you enjoy this type of thing then I would say go for it because it has more absurd thing to surprise you even more, but if you are seeking for some good manga then give this one a thought, a long one.
On judging the art, it is pretty much similar in all the chapters except for some panels. It is not exactly godly, but when considering that the manga is nearly 30 years old, it deserves some praise.
