what was so captivating about this taboo storyline is that it was believable, digs into the dark, troubled realms of the emotional and psychological minds of those affected by twisted morals permeating the world. Human conflicts, especially the internal battles with morality and sinful impulses we daily wrestle to control, always make for great reading or a film.
I like the fact that it shows that not only are men guilty of twisted perversions - as highlighted by the 'To Catch A Predator' series - but women too, and may even be far worse than the men. This mother knew what was building within her, and

fought it at first, best she could. But it was practically impossible to avoid being so enthralled by her son's touch and be an affectionate, responsible parent at the same time. That's pretty well-based in our sad reality for parent-child relationships, though not pleasant to speak about. I found it erotic, but also disturbing; intense and captivating, but cruel and shameful. Lost innocence for both main characters, destruction of the martal sanctity, and birth of a perverted bond between Mother and Child - all victims of lack of self-control and higher morals. Written almost as if from experience ( If not, then the writer is even more talented than I imagined) it was like you're right there watching the whole sad event unfold, sensing everything around, emotions, tension, sounds, even the tv show. That's what a good Writer does for the Reader.
I do not condone what took place, but it sheds light on what goes on more often and frequently in the shadows in messed up families than what human society is willing to admit.
