On the actual 2 chapters that focus on Gorgeous Irene, it does somewhat give off a sailor moon/sailor venus vibe. 

Both are one-shots (oh well, I guess not counting Gorgeous Irene that is two chapters) compilation made by mangakas before they had their boom with a popular manga series, they both help understand the beginnings of the artists and identify some of the things that would later be feature in their more popular works (hell, Koi No Kamisama has the pilot for Nisekoi, more help understanding the pre boom of his career than that there's not). 

How dare you recommend Araki's work with this moe bullshlt?! Yeah, not much likeness of these two in substance, but both are compilations of short stories (almost all one-shots) made by one mangaka, easy to read, gives a look at the style of everything of the artist, are one vol. Long and at least one chapter of each has cowboys and are West related, so there's that.
