Manga: Moon: Subaru Solitude Standing
The main girl is set up with a dance or figure skating partner their relationship builds within months of training together!? both have a tragic air around it?! both good stories and art :P

Manga: Bitter Virgin
The plot is similar. Both protagonist have been raped. The story of the girl in kiss and never cry is more developed than bitter virgin. Trust this manga is enjoyable.

It has the similar atmosphere of tragic where the main girl tries to overcome it with their passion i.e. either ballet or figure skating :P

Both of these stories involve main characters who have been traumatized at an early age and how they deal with their problems.

Manga: Hikari no Densetsu
These manga are similar in how they both focus mainly on sports and romance. In both series, the main protagonist is a young, pretty, talented girl who soon becomes a champion in her athletic discipline (respectively figure skating & artistic gymnastics), and who is longed by two guys, friends of her, who are completely different for personality and looks. Both manga mix the sports side, with its difficulties, joys, sacrifice, and competition, with the emotional aspect, made of drama, romance, love triangles, friendships, etc. Hikari No Densetsu is a light-hearted shoujo, while Kiss & Never Cry is a dramatic josei, but apart from that, they're very similar.

Manga: Nana
Splendid and passionate josei manga which are the flagship of their respective authors. Both Nana Osaki & Michiru Kuroki are young but determined women who deal with both a launched career, made of competition, rivalry, and sacrifice, & a private life, with its romance, sex, friendship, drama, and everyday problems. Even though Nana is about music & Kiss & Never Cry is about figure skating, the similarities are countless, and both manga are equally intriguing, moving, and compelling.
