Well, as far as yaoi goes, this one is probably my favorites just because of the general seme-uke dynamic that is portrayed in a funny, disgusting in a good way, way.
Story:
Really doesn't have that thick of a storyline, but it shows more plot than most yaoi. There are some random side stories that seem only somewhat related and it gives off the feeling that the author just wanted to make a sex scene.
Art:
Well.....I'm really picky, so to me, it was only okay...It wasn't bad, but it was not good.
Characters:
They're funny, but pretty run of the mill. You have the baby-ish uke, the super
...
dominant seme that's rude and horny, and then in volume two, when they introduce two more characters, you see a similar pattern emerging. Except for that that the babyish uke is less baby and the hypermean seme is a bit sweeter....
Enjoyment:
If you're a hard core yaoi fan and you want to see the grungy and racy parts, you may not like this as much as you would others because this is a pretty tame yaoi, in my opinion.
Overall:
I'm not a HUGE yaoi fan, because it feels like it's just: sex, sex, itty bitty plot, sex, sex...and so on, but I thought Wagamama na Ningyo-sama had enough of a plot for me to follow and the raunchy areas were commonplace enough for me to be like, "okay this is a yaoi"
I'm more of a shonen-ai fan, so yaoi is usually a bit intense for me, but I was able to read this one without getting a headache. Not that this is the only yaoi with plot, it's just that depending on who you are, this story may be either too boring for you or too racy for you.
