This manga is like Witch Hat Atelier and dark Madoka. Art style reminds atelier but with less detailed backgrounds (still decent tho). Characters wear pretty outfits, when the story is cozy it looks so, when it creepy and dark it looks creepy and dark. Art is a strong side of Quartz no Oukoku. The weak side sadly is plot. It started not bad, but after some time plot was in complete mess. Events happens, situations are tough, mc almost got killed and hated by everyone, but in next chapter the issue was resolved behind the curtains. Pace is unstable - in earlier chapters it

is very slow and wants to be like Harry Potter - angel academy with lessons. But after like 1-2 lessons seems like author be like - I want battles and suffering and now it rushed, mc is in an elite squad just because (they have only 1 related to fights lesson, she doesn't know anything about enemies). And every member willing to help and have a warm feeling towards mc, though there were 1 line every member said to her at all and all citizens don't like mc, especially after that one event.
And a few words about enemies - they call them demons, akuma, but they literally are biblically accurate angels. It is really strange, if it is going to be a plot twist in the future, it has no sense. It's like call someone cats, but they looks like dogs, it just doesn't work.
TL;DR: art is good, story is rushed, can't recommend it.
