I think everyone has thought about or been jealous thinking about a person's beauty or his/her riches at least once in their life, but what happens when you dial that up to the max. We get an insecure and jealous person with an inferiority complex constantly having an urge to categorize people around them to make themselves superior by looking down on people below her. This is the brief description of the psyche of our MC.
It is supposed to be a thriller manwha. At least from premise it is. Our MC sees something she should not have seen, the no.1 boy of the class
...
in the classroom and no.1 girl dead below the building visible from the class window. No.1 boy's weakness in the palm of your hands? Time for manipulation, bitch. There is the starting of the thriller and I was excited with the anticipation what the next chapter will offer. Next chapter ends with a twist and I am all the more excited. Then the next one ends with a twist. And the next one too, and then chapter after that too......
It relies too much and I mean too much in the surprise factor, but thing is that you can't keep surprising the readers continuously. After a certain time they will get indifferent to it. And the supposed twist are not that important at all. We get back and forth in a fantastical manipulative alleged romance story. Little to no expansion to the murder story at all. It got crushed beneath the romance crap. But the romance crap was not boring, at least in the beginning. It was like an extension to the main murder plot which I thought would help in the advancement of the storyline. But it is doing the opposite, coming in the forefront, overshadowing the main plot. Which I thought would be a good crime thriller manga ended to be a manipulative tug of wars of a high school student with an inferiority complex.
Now its not like it is destined to go into the dumpster, there are certain loose ends which the author have not touched, but if the dragging continues like this, it is unlikely they will be touched at all.
