To be quite honest I'm not sure how to feel about this series yet. Volume 1 just came out in the US and the premise seemed interesting so I picked it up. While the premise is amusing, the set up for it is almost non-existent. To break it down
1. Rich boy meets girl
2. Immediately falls for her for unexplained reasons
3. Uses connections to find out she is an assassin
4. Puts hit out on himself to spend time with her.
All of this happens over the course of the first 11 pages. It feels like the author wrote this as a thought experiment without much idea of
...
what he wanted to do with the story. Maybe one volume isn't enough to judge it on but so far I'm not that impressed. Still, the premise has promise and the 4th wall breaking moments of how ridiculous the MC's plan makes me want to give it a chance. I plan on picking up the next volume though before I decide on whether or not to drop this one and if you're like me and you prefer to read physical copies of manga, I reccomend waiting for another volume or 2 to come out before picking it up as the ending of the first volume has a decidedly "meh" feeling about it.
