Background

Kamui Gaiden Daiichi-bu was published in English as The Legend of Kamui by VIZ comics in 1987. It was one of the first manga titles to be published by VIZ in the United States. The VIZ Comics edition featured lettering and retouching by Usagi Yojimbo creator Stan Sakai.
