Pretty good and funny.
Basically, if you don’t know, this novel contains six little stories about everyday life of the characters of Tokyo Ghoul: Re. So, no, this novel isn’t a sequel of the manga, however, if you’re a fan of this series, I really recommend to you this novel, it’s pretty short and entertaining to read, I thought that it would be some tedious novel like others authors do but it was pretty good. But if you’re not a fan of Tokyo Ghoul, well, you can even skip this one. By the way, one think that I really liked about this light novel, is that ... every 5/6 pages there’s a little drawing about the story that we’re reading and it’s really nice to see.
Now I’ll give my opinion about this stories, so...

-Chapter 1
I really liked this one, the main character of this chapter is Yonebayashi and her life as a NEET, since I think the majority of the fan of Tokyo Ghoul are too (like me) many readers probably liked this chapter because it’s really relatable XD. I liked the plan that they hatched for being sure that she was sleeping for the day after that night but damn you can’t stop a NEET if she want to buy a new game XD so yeah, funny chapter.

-Chapter 2
That was actually... deep.
At first I liked the fact that Hinami wanted to do a coffe for Ayato and how then all the Aogiri’s member liked the coffe, it was a relaxing chapter until she offered a cup to Eto. When she destroyed the cup and walked away laughing and Hinami started to cry, finishing the chapter like this I was like 0_0. I think that what Ishida want to let us fell is what Aogiri is, even if someone is having fun or having some good moments having a coffe, the leaders still like this and this is what Aogiri is, a massive group of awful ghoul. And the little Hinami, that she just wanted to do a normal life with her family and friend, is in there without having any type of fun (like all others ghouls in there) missing her family, Touka, Kaneki and all her others friends.

-Chapter 3
That was funny, i love Suzuya already, so I liked the fact that all his comrades and friends wanted to do a present for him. I don’t have many things to say about this chapter, just a funny story about Haise and the others trying to give a giant crème caramel to Suzuya XD

-Chapter 4
That one was good, mainly because we can se the “umanity” of Tsukiyama and all his family and how they care so much about their self. The story of the photo was a bit boring but I liked this chapters anyway.

-Chapter 5
I loved the story of this one, the fact that even the counter ghouls have a day for having fun and expose their art ability was really cool. Also because we can see what many characters likes to do, Like Urie likes to paint and many others. This chapter was the longest one and I liked that because we can see the abilities of many characters and the dedication that they put in even in this things.

-Chapter 6
Not much to say about this, was just like 10 pages XD but I really liked the “horror” mood of this one, the ghost ghoul was a good idea and the end was like... wtf XD

In the end, as a fan of the manga of Tokyo Ghoul, I really likes this novel! But I think giving more than an 8 is a bit too much for a novel about six stories like this. So yeah, I think 8 it’s a good vote for this one (for me). Good job! :D
