Dokgo had interesting start, however it follows way too much clichés of the genre.
To take revenge for his brother’s death, the protagonist pretends to be the brother and raises hell. Sounds interesting, right? It certainly sounded. Unfortunately, what you get is fights with few small fries that the the MC mostly bulldozers through, with no real threat. The final fight is completely underwhelming, with protagonist downgraded not thanks to their own inability, but thanks to cheap tricks applied to supporting cast, with a forgettable finale. Added with the near-unbeatable protagonist is the usual “adults/authorities are useless”, and you get the usual Riki-Oh-esque beat-them-up plotline.
One huge

problem, at least for me, was hardly distinguishable characters, beyond the protagonist and the girls. Not only they look quite same, they also act similarly, and I quickly lost track on who is who, which certainly didn’t help enjoyment factor.
I kinda like the art though. It looks a bit rough, but it certainly fits the tone. Having more varied character designs could do wonders for the comic with this art. The fights at the start are well choreographed, not so much the fights in later half.
Overall, if you’re into action without superpowers you might enjoy this, but don’t expect any grand story.
