A moving story that makes beautiful use of nonlinear storytelling.

All the fragments of this narrative are told out of chronological order, and you're left wading through a sea of memories--many rife with a quiet tension you slowly piece together as more and more scenes are revealed to you. I don't think it's the most memorable story, and the characters aren't incredibly likable (with exception of the girlfriend, I loved her sections), but the atmosphere and intrigue, along with the nonlinear execution, make it a worthy read.

I'd say as a romance story, this isn't too impressive. There's good emotions in here, but I've seen similar narratives ...
