| i agree with everything that's just been said. i wish i had something to add... tohru is such a sweet girl, really kind-hearted, honest and sincere, hard-working, independent, very loving, sees the good in people, keeps her promises..... an almost perfect person really |
| Normally, I like the characters who are...in a word, troubled. Their flaws and mistakes make them human so I can relate to them... So, I wasn't really interested in Tohru as a favorite character when I first began Fruits Basket...Because she was just TOO perfect...But she grew on me and I think that's why I like her...Because she has that uncanny ability to be so kind hearted that you can't help BUT love her. And when she falls in love with Kyo, THAT just made me like her all the more, just seeing her character develop, actually felt like someone close and dear to me was growing herself, reading the manga gave me what felt like a personal relationship with all the characters, but especially Tohru and Kyo <3 |
| I like Tohru because she is a perfect human. Ok, wait, i don't like perfect characters, Tohru have defects like 'air head' and clumsy. It's amazing how Tohru can help others people, your heart is so big and lovely, and she is so honest, there are no words i can describe her. And, i can't believe how there are people who hate Tohru! seriously, the major prefer girls who are sarcastic, 'strong personality' like if they could build a new world where they can bully you. Continuing, Tohru can make a smile in your month when you are sad. She lost her mother and even she can so naturally be happy and make others happy! she have personality for who say she don't have, she can't be really courageous, but just helping peoples is the enough! |
