Always wonderful to hear about a new Studio Ghibli film!

However, I may be reading too much into this but this film seems like it will be the make or break film for Ghibli's future.

Hayao Miyasaki has retired, Isao Takahata may have one or two more in him but he'll likely follow suit. That leaves Goro Miyasaki and Hiromasa Yonebayashi.

I recently saw 'From Up on Poppy Hill'. Goro has redeemed himself after 'Earthsea' and shows he can direct but I'm still a little unconvinced he is the one to lead the company.
Yonebayashi made a great film with 'Arrietty' and I'm looking forward to this next film but again kind of uncertain times post-Miyasaki.

Make or break? That's silly and dramatic.
