I'm looking for places to buy anime and manga in winnipeg... I'm lucky that I have a comic shop like, 5 min from my house but they don't have everything I'm looking for... (I need death note volume 2 and 5 because they don't have it in stock... >_>;;).

I found a place at Kildonan Place mall but it's a tiny kiosk...

I couldn't find a single store selling anime or manga in the entire Polo Park mall which pissed me off. haha. I know there used to be a store with 'japanese stuff' in it, but that was a long time ago...

ANYWAY, I need to find some more sources for buying my animu and mango in Winnipeg, also, if it's near the U of M that'd be nice too since I'm there a lot.

You can find anime shop at the Garden City mall (west Kildonan), in the area of the food court. If you can't find what you're looking for, the seller will most likely order it for you.

Also, check this club:

it is a Winnipeg Anime Club, and I'm sure they can help you in any issue that you might have.
Hope I helped :)

Move to BC and stop failing. We have many stores dedicated to manga and anime alone :D

Nevermind, found a Little Star Gifts store somewhere near TYC, or at least on the way there.

Still preferring Galaxy Comics right by my house though, they're awesome. Charge you for the American cover price rather then the Canadian on manga :D
Knocks off like $3 compared to everywhere else.

I believe there's McNally Robinson in Grant Park Shopping Centre that has a lot of varieties of different manga series, you can even order a certain volume on its website if you can't find the one you're looking for. They'll call you when they have it, and you just need to go pick it up. There's also IrBen Entertainment on Pembina Highway just a couple of blocks south of where McGillivray Boulevard is at, which is an anime and Japanese live action movie store. It also contains mangas, collectables, original anime DVDs, anime t-shirts, snacks, etc. Hope my suggestions will help! Good luck finding some anime and manga!
From the very beginning, I'm never someone who tells others to do what they don't want to do, but I'm purely against ideological policies like affirmative action and so on that forces people to deny biological practicality.
