| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Oh i wasn't expecting this but in the first episode, they spent some time explaining the situation, but then really gets into the thick of things in terms of action and plot progression. But I’m really surprised that they managed to kill off all three of Sara’s friends in the course of about 30 seconds. This was especially surprising given how they had been building up Cedie’s feelings for Sara, but I guess that just intensifies the impact of his death. |

| This didn't seem that great at first but the ending- wow! Now I am hooked into it. Reminds me of what they did with the first episode of Ga Rei Zero haha. |
| i think once that 3 friends died, u realise this is a serious war show the cruelty and twist of the first eps is one of the main reasons why this is my fav series |

| This was certainly a very interesting first episode. Though I wish they wouldn't have killed off Cedie already D: Anyway, going to watch more and see how this anime goes. I just hope it isn't one of those that randomly kills the characters, like in Knights of Sydonia. |
