John O'Donnell is the founder and owner of Central Park Media. These recommendations are from the man himself! He says that while some of them (cough *MD Geist* cought) may not have good reputations, they did sell really well, and had many fans back in the day, and you might want to check them out! Have you guys seen any of them? If so what's your opinion on them? He also says to "EXPAND your horizons" . If you liked a show, watch some other shows with the same director. If you like a show, check out who the writer is and see what else they have wrote. If you like the character designs maybe watch some other shows they worked on, see what other types of designs they came up with.

Yeah JoD really likes "MD Geist"! When the VHS came out he got the director to come to the states to sign autographs, and people from all over the country came! This is no joke! For what is now considered one of the worst animes ever, people traveled to get an autographed copy of! O'Donnel liked it so much (and it sold so well) that he and CPM co-produced a sequel (they fronted the money, the Japanese created a sequel). Recently O'Donnel even got both movies on Sci-Fi channels Ani-Monday block! Now if that's not dedication, I don't know what is! You may love, you may hate it(ok you probally will hate it) but MD Geist is so bad it's good! It's like the anime verson of Plan 9 from Outerspace! |
