| I added Episodes 5 and 6 to the list... :) If I had to guess, this season will end with the resolution of "Takamiya-kun vs. Weekend". I'm guessing that is Chapter 26, which has yet to be translated... |

| Episode 7 added to the list. Fairly standard at this point, usually two chapters per episode. That will have to change to get through the Weekend arc, but I think there are some pretty action oriented chapters that will shrink down when animated. (Action scenes tend to take longer in manga than they do in anime...) |

| The pace has already stepped up, with episode 9 covering three chapters (16, 17, and 18) instead of two. (They skipped a bit of chapter 17, but it was really a non-essential part of the story. Sweet, cute, and kind of touching, but not pertinent to the plot. Maybe that will be in the OVA?) I expect that we will be seeing Takamiya-kun vs. Weekend parts 1, 2, & 3 over the final three weeks, covering chapters 19 through 28 or so. I am looking forward to seeing how the Weekend saga plays out in anime. The scenes during the training section of episode 9 were fantastic. I had forgotten about Kagari's dream, even though scenes from it show up in the OP each week. I don't understand how I could have forgotten it, since it is such an important plot point. Maybe it had to do with the fact that, immediately after that brief respite and moment of reflection the entire world literally blew up in our magical pair's faces? The non-stop action and intrigue of the Weekend arc pushed the quiet moment of sweetness and lost memory fly away... |
