During your stay in Neo-Venezia, you may have picked up a few tidbits of info regarding Cassanova, Cafe Florian, the Campanile, St Marks Square, San Michele cemetery island, the various bridges, something about gondolas, etc. If you would like to see and learn more about these trademarks of Venice but don't feel like leaving your living room, I'd highly recommend "Francesco's Venice", a 4-part documentary on the city that inspired Aria.

It was a great watch, and I had a lot of fun spotting the real-life versions of the landmarks, festivals and gondoliers (whom are unfortunately all dudes). I found a copy of it at my local library, but I know there's torrents for it around. The cinematography's excellent and the narrator is a real Venetian, so it's cool to see the city from his eyes. One of the best documentaries I've seen (but then as an Aria-lover, I may be biased lol).
I like anime and stuff

Well, I only compared the locations. For those interested in the depth of Venetian history, my blog is not the place! Thanks for the free ad though. :P
