Nothing sucks more than memories being corrupt but loneliness can suck even more. Oh well...life isn't always fair for everyone.

Yukine crying ;_; He's grown a lot though since the beginning, like how now, he does think about how his thoughts/mood affects Yato. Even though Yukine is hurting from thinking about being forgotten, or staying at one place while Hiyori goes on and live her life, he was worried that it might hurt Yato. The bond between Yukine and Yato is great, so that Yukine can share and relieve his troubles with Yato. Versus Vaisravana, who has (although with a good heart) saved many spirits and made them into her shinki, she is not on close terms with them because it's as Kazuma said, she runs away from it all. Poor Suzuha who died...

Great chapter TT^TT , Vaisravana seems like a nice person, she just need to work some things out with the Shinkis...and it is great to see how close Yato and Yukine have become, though I really wish to see them together with Hiyori again...

Feels chp.

Poor Suzuha :( Viina needs to talk to her Shinki because this is too cruel. I'm guessing Yato killed Touma because he was corrupted or Sth like that now.

Yukine's development has been great so far. Poor hm having his first friend die.

Lol'd at Manabu calling Hiyori a gang boss XD

So she has so many shinki that she names some and then doesn't see them for years? Tsk tsk. It's kind of her fault that what seems like a revolt is about to happen against her. Not sure I understood what the doctor was saying, was he saying that if a god is killed, a new one is born?

Yeah, I can feel Yukine, I'd be extremely depressed if I were him. I mean, he's dead, there's nothing to be done next, there's nothing to accomplish, it's a meaningless life :/ especially If you befriended a still-living human being. I mean, what good comes from being alive in that state ? If I were him, I'd just want to die in peace.

In the past chapters, I couldn't really understand him or his anguish but now I kinda understand why he was acting so braty. This is really fucking depressing.

Vaisravana has so much more Shinki than she can handle. As former humans, all of them are prone to temptations which takes a toll on her body from being stung by them. Because Vaisravana has too many shinki, she doesn't even remember them all and is unable to establish a good relationship and communicate effectively with them all.She wasn't even able to tell who the shinki was that died.
With there being so many shinki and how difficult it is to communicate with them all,Vaisravana toughens out the pain and lives on medicine.Well I guess it makes sense now how Kazuma and Kugaha are now able to betray her and it goes overlooked.

Agreed.I think her bad habit of collecting all those charity case shinki is about to do her in.

It's amazing how many Shiki Bishamon holds. So much so that she can't even remember which Shiki dies.

Bishamon is quite hot in bed.

But seriously, Kazuma is right. She should have paid more attention to her people. She is in a tight spot however. Let's see how this gets resolved.

But the character development of Yukine is good. He has at least learned to take care of Yato and obey him. Also he doesn't hide things anymore.

Things are gonna get real messy.

Without change,we end up becoming the very person we hate.

I was dead until the moment I met you. I was a powerless corpse pretending to be alive. Living without power, without the ability to change my course, was bound to lead me to a slow death.

This chapter reminded me why I love Noragami so much.

Will start by saying that I actualy didn't remembered much of this from the anime, but I think it's also because in the anime, before Bishamon's arc, we had that Filler arc that disrupted the pacing.

This chapter was peak storytelling. I wasn't expecting to start tearing up while reading Yukine's doubts and feelings. The truth is that Yukine will never be able to grow up, he'll stay as a young teenage boy forever, and Hyori will continue growing up, and eventually continue with her life, forgetting about them (Yukine and Yato), just like what happened with Suzuha and Tomoko. It's crazy that Suzuha has been waiting for 30 years for Tomoko.

Right after this, they cut to Yukine saying that he at least found a friend, and they show Suzuha, once again, by the cherry tree, and Kugaha being revealed and the person that was helping him treat that tree. And then Kugaha started dragging Suzuha's morality down and down, by saying that Tomoko has forgotten about him, and his master (Bishamon) doesn't even call his name for years now, to the point he mustsn't know his name, which just makes Suzuha feeling miserable, and then they cut to showing Nora's dogs, and a panel of Suzuha reuniting with Tomoko, by the cherry tree blossom, to then just flip the page and see that Bishamon woke up from the pain that a shinki's death causes on their master. THAT WAS GRUESOME. I didn't remember this from the anime somehow, so reliving it like it's the 1st time really made this scene all much better. The manga that I'm reading are all from series that I already saw the anime of, so it's unusual for me to get this fascinated by the manga, but Noragami has done it (and honestly made me want to read more manga, other than from the anime that I have seen).

But the chapter didn't end there, they also showed how Bishamon feels insecure about her "family", since all of her Shinki just run away from her, which adds more depth to this whole situation, because just before we saw one of her Shinki getting killed, and one of the reasons was because of what Kazuma said about Bishamon not talking to her Shinki, and now we know why. It also explains why she sees Kazuma so differently, since he's the only one that doesn't run from her, and isn't afraid of talking to her.

We also got the revelation that Kugaha wants basically to be the Kazuma of the new Bishamon, so for that he wants Bishamon to die, and is disrupting the Bishamon "family" for that.

Also, I wonder what Aiha was doing during that time, at night, because I genuinely don't remember.

This part of the manga really is quite different from the anime, all because Rabou doesn't exist in the manga (thankfully, because that was the weakest part about the anime).

Ahhh, can't wait to read the next chapter and end volume 4! Thankfully, I already have volume 5 ready to read!
