| Like I supposed at first, the heroin was Saotome's granddaughter. Now, who's Gô who looks so much like her, a manufactured brother? (I first thought that Genki had been made by Michiru and Ryôma but I'm not sure anymore since they keep saying it's the child of the Doc)) Also, the big ugly Getter thing probably needs to integrate the Getter machines. 4/5 "Truth revealed" Disappointed that it wasn't the big plan. |

| Man, I really want to love seeing the Shin Getter in action, but it just felt so stiff this episode. Then for the other two thirds of the episode none of the emotional story beats really hit for me. Saotome coming back is the same twist from the first episode, so it's really not that surprising this time, and I've never felt much for Benkei except for in the Shin Getter manga (but he obviously hasn't done any of that here). Schwartz is also a neutered version of himself; he's just a dick because that's his demeanor and not much else. In Getter Go Schwartz at least had a bit of depth to him and his reasons for hating the Japanese, and he was SUPER racist which made it all the more ironic and satisfying when he started to warm up to the Getter crew. 2/5 for this episode. I'm really hoping this show starts picking up soon. Let Hayato do something more than stand in his control room with his Terminator glasses. Bring Ryouma back into the fold. Let that *spoiler* that happens to Gai in the manga transpire! I just want something exciting to go down. |

| Cal me umb but I genuinely didn't see that Genkei/Kei twist coming. Why the fuck was she raised as a boy in the first place? idk being drunk probably doesn't help understanding this but that was some genderbending anime shit. |

| Didn't saw this twist coming but things could have been better if the directing could be strong man why imagawa had to leave directing for rest of the series. Anyways the big plan is not big at all so I really hope something unexpected happen after this twist to bring that excitement back or it will be huge dissapointment. |
