| Well, Yaya still abides to the Magic Dissonance rule so only one type of magic is available for her which is strengthening her body so the attacks may look like they're all the same. There are some slight differences though as they are styles for battle that Raishin formulated to make up for his lack of talent. Tenken(天嶮)(the yellow light) literally translates to 'natural defense' and it's been mostly used as a defensive style. Case in point would be his first match against Loki in episode 6. Tenken was used there with 48 units and Yaya blocked Cherubim's attack. Raishin then applies 96 units later on so they could try to block its attack when it turned into a sword. Raishin doubted that Yaya could block it even with the Tenken defense, hence his BSOD and taking the hit to protect Yaya. Kouen and Suimei are mostly used as attacking styles. One is a rapid attack and one is attacks that are hard hitting. Same episode as well. This is just me observing how it's presented in the different mediums(anime, manga and LN). Like I said in the link, there really wasn't any explanation given in the source and you would only make sense of this somewhat in the original Japanese text. So yeah. |

| Ii agree with belatkuro. The numbers are units of mana and the other par is the type of attack to use although they seem really similar. The red attack seems the most powerful. The yellow one is used mostly for counterattacks. Basically it returns enemy attack to sender. |
