Kanetsugu's secret is safe thanks to an awesome combination of dance, iron fans and fine covert military strategy. Righteous indeed.

I suppose considering the number of people who watch this that there's no chance of a second season. It's a shame really, I would have liked to see more of Maeda's story, specially why he's bald. And at some point we know Tokugawa will take on the Chief Advisor so it''d be cool to see Kanetsugu involved in that.

Well, this couldn't have a second season, since that's where manga ends. But I hope original manga will be adaptated, since it is, in my opinion, much more interesting (although it almost twice longer).

What an epic finish fitting for such an eccentric series. The dance strategy was great, the action I hoped for was given and in true guro fashion, and the last tale of Kanetsugu's righteousness was maybe the most heart rendering one. Everything ended perfectly for me, Kanetsugu outsmarting and defeating Sagen, Mosuke saving the day but taking a lethal blow, and Jirobo getting the finishing shot on Sagen.

This was such an enjoyable ride, after the slow start it just got more and more interesting, the plot more and more intense, and the storytelling and tales of each character's righteousness more and more engaging and deep. I remember the first couple of episode discussion threads all there was was righteousness jokes, but those of us righteous few that stuck with it were truly treated to a good one.

And that's how it ends, sadly we didn't got much of Maeda in the 2nd part of the show.

Legend says those 2 are still sitting there and drinking till this day.

Very glorious anime, enjoyed every episode. In fact I enjoyed this show more than I thought i would o.o
When I first started it I was a little unsure how to take it. Each episode though drew me in more and more. Ended up really loving it! This is one of them shows where I'm going "DAMNIT ITS OVER ;_;"

You can have your cake and eat it too.

RIGHTEOUS DANCE
RIGHTEOUS DEATH
RIGHTEOUS REVELATION
RIGHTEOUS ENDING

Again, wish this show was more known, so I could find gifs of Kanetsugu spinning around in circles. Anyway, I was unsure if this was going to be as campy as I wanted it to be when it first started, but then, Sugita came along and Dinosaur Puppy appeared and Suibara danced around like an idiot, etc. That said, the plot became genuinely interesting in the second half and this sure is the eccentric finale I wanted. Looking forward to the soundtrack and indulging in all its RIGHTEOUS RIGHTEOUSNESS. 8/10

This show was righteous till the truly end. Too bad Keiji hasn't appeared in the flashback but it's fine. I'd like to see a 2nd season but I guess the sales weren't that good.

Anyway, 8/10. Totally worth my righteous time.

OH RIGHT THE SOUNDTRACKS WERE UTTERLY BEAUTIFUL. ESPECIALLY IN THIS EPISODE.
Can't wait for the album. ZA SLIDERS and the ED too btw.

9/10, made my Tuesdays a worthwhile and righteous event. Pretty much the only decent anime that aired on Tuesdays this season too.

Mostly, I'm sad to see this go. It'll be missed big time. It made me laugh a lot and I just really enjoyed it in general, from the horses that looked like plastic toys to the silly proportions to the eccentricity of our main characters. I think I'll try looking into the original manga this spin off came from, if it's anything like this.

The season ok it would had ben bad if it wasnt for my Keiji.

They seriously should had did his solo manga instead. It's superior in all ways also he fights a lot. I never really liked Kanetsugu.

seriously this series should have just been called Gifuu Doudou!!: Kanetsugu since Keiji isn't even in half of it.

Fantastic ending! Very satisfying. Overall, I absolutely loved this show. It's too bad we didn't get to see much of Keiji, but Kanetsugu was such an interesting character, I didn't really notice Keiji's absence through a lot of the episodes.

Absolutely fantastic show, close to a masterpiece of storytelling if you ask me. 9/10.

A perfect end to the masterpiece of the season. It's the Jojo's Bizarre Adventure of 2013.

There should have been more one on one battles with interesting strategies.

It's the worst selling anime of its season. I don't think they'll even manage 500 copies.

In any case, this was a great ending to a very underrated anime.

Heh, OST got more intense this episode. Pretty bloody ending to that duel I suppose. It felt rushed though...squeezing it in at middle of the episode.

Dat Naoe's righteousness~
5/10. I wasn't into the show much of the time tbh. It had some decent moments though.
