It has been announced on the official Shounen Jump website that the manga "Isobe Isobee Monogatari," which has begun serialization in this week's Shounen Jump, will also get a flash anime adaptation. It will be released along with the next issue of Shounen Jump's mobile apps "Jump LIVE" this winter.

"Isobe Isobee Monogatari" was originally a one-shot manga published in Shounen Jump in May to fill in a slot vacated by the suspension of One Piece at that time; however, due to the tremendous amount of positive feedback it received, the manga was serialized. The story is a gag comedy manga drawn in the Ukiyoe style but with people thinking and behaving like their counterparts in modern day Japan.

So MAL finally starts locking news threads that are only a few weeks old?

I wonder where was the announcement of this change? Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them?

I wonder how long people would put up with this.

As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series.

Now that's a fast anime announcement.

Though flash animation doesn't tend to be very good.
There is no such thing as shit taste. Only idiots who think everyone should have the same taste as they do.

Indeed, I still remember how painful it was to watch the flash anime of the other Shounen Jump gag manga "Saiki Kusuo no Ψ Nan"....

For these type of manga it's better to read it than to watch it.

Edit: And flash anime adaption made it worse

I haven't seen anime drawn in the Ukiyoe style before, I wish it wasn't a flash anime though, they are hit or miss (usually miss). Chances are it will be 2-5 minutes long so I may watch this.
