Ill-Tempered Beatrice has a very high temper. She can go from cranky to hell-just-broke-loose in less than a second. Violent & Sadistic Ms. Bellmort adores violence, as long as she is the one causing it. Never unnecessary cruel, she likes making people who think highly of themselves crumble and become pathetic heaps at her feet, begging for her to stop; she thrives on the pain of others, and will likely go out of her way to abuse those who rightfully deserve the abuse. History: Beatrice Bellmort was born from the last descendant of a powerful, if dying bloodline of magi. The Bellmort lineage's Sorcery Trait, that of being able to absorb prana like a sponge from others has made the family be quite envied, effectively leading to trouble for the typically gold-eyed people. Her mother, Renee, died whilst giving birth, automatically making Beatrice the inheritor of the family's remaining wealth. The to-be genius child was given into the care of her father, a powerful magus by the name of Raymond. Beatrice developed very, very fast; she early on proved to have a photographic memory and quick reflexes, as well as a knack for magic - and an impressive intellect. Scoring an IQ of 285 points, the genius girl breezed through the mundane educational system without as much as breaking a sweat. Meanwhile, her father taught her how to use magic, seeing her very obvious talent for Alchemy. At an unknown point in time, he passed his Magic Crest down to her. When Beatrice was fourteen, a mysterious incident left her father mentally disabled. Beatrice is the only one aware of what had truly happened, and has sworn to take vengeance. Meanwhile, she has left her father behind in the family's mansion in a rural area of France in the care of two maids with training in combat to serve as both caretakers and bodyguards, whilst she has been taking a flat in Paris, subsequently letting herself be hired as a private detective when it comes to more unusual - and typically magical - situations, for the fun of it (and sometimes for huge paychecks). Now selected by the Grail, she summons Caster, considering carefully her options of joining the Tohsaka or the Einzbern, or if she should keep her neutral position for the rest of this wicked game. Expertise: Torture, Investigation, Mathematics, Knife-throwing Magecraft: Alchemy; Elemental Fire Magic Spells: - Transmutation of Matter: Abiding by the law of Equivalent Exchange, Beatrice uses Alchemy to reshape anything she likes with a mere touch - or by sending a wavelength of prana into the target and efficiently manipulating the matter. - Creation of Matter: Beatrice gives shape to prana, transforming it into a solidified form of whatever she likes; this is limited to non-animated objects and illusions of living ones. - Transformation of Matter - Proprieties: Using Alchemy, Beatrice infuses prana in different substances causing them to become as highly flammable as she likes - to the point where the hydrogen in the air can be set ablaze if the magus sends prana impulses so designed that come in contact with it. Or, on the contrary, she can cause different substances to become inflammable. - Draconic Flames: Coming in contact with her affinity toward the Fire element, Beatrice can produce (sometimes quite literally breathe) and manipulate fire. - Styx's Curse: Beatrice's fire is unique thanks to this spell. The fire that she produces and/or manipulates can not only burn through anything, but effectively keep itself alive until she and she alone decides to extinguish it. St. Martins When he was about 8 or 9 years old... tragedy struck as the Church was seemingly randomly assaulted by a small group of reasonably young Dead Apostles. They raped, murdered, and consumed all the nuns and the priest at Saint Martins. But young Martin hid himself away in the confession booth, unseen and unheard he hid there for several days even long after they left. After about 3 or 4 days, Executors arrived at the Church and were tracking the Dead Apostles. There they found young Martin, rescued him, and brought them back to the Burial Agency unsure of what to do with him. This wasn't the first time a survivor was found amongst such a vampiric slaughter... the child had a choice to return to an orphan or to train as a Executor. With fury in his once innocent eyes and with small fists balled, with a hate born from love lost rarely seen in children he chose the latter. From then on they trained him, and when they discovered he had a Magic Circuit they even trained him harder. It's 'concept ' is that is 'rejection of guilt', therefore retaining power capable of dealing damage to both alignments by targetting the soul via guilt. The guiltier you feel the higher your soul damage is (though get getting sliced by a sword would hurt like hell anyway). This effect extends to the wielder as well who is limited to only a few brief minutes of wielding it before being affected by the 'rejection of guilt'. Only due to the Shroud is he able to last those minutes (Total of 3 posts exactly) before needing to replace it in its scabbard once more for a cool down (another 9 posts). Though used primarily for Vampire hunting... but granted for his use in the Grail Wars. Name: Holy Shroud of Saint Marina (Margaret) Rank: A Cost: Xpr Range: Self Description: Holy Shrouds are cloths used to wrap around the remains of saints. Kotomine owns the Shroud of Martin and Caren Hortensia owns the Shroud of Magdalene. Archer's cloak is also made from a Holy Shroud. Martin's cloak is made from a Shroud as well, or to be truthful it is the Shroud of Saint Marina, which protects him from most forms of Mental Interference Magic due to the outstanding willpower this Saint displayed during her life. The higher the Rank of a spell that targets him through Mental Interference, the more Prana it draws from him and surrounding sources to fuel and protect him. It worked and backfired simultaneously. Desparate for praise All she wants from others is be accepted for who she is, not what her title happens to be. She's always worked for her fathers praise but never really got it. In her eyes, he's simply using her to obtain more power. She is NOT cool with that and she comes off as very childish at times as a result. Emotional yet logical Grounded in reality, but prone to emotional outbursts as well. Some might say she's a walking contradiction. She says that she has a healthy balance of vitamin D. What does that have to do with emotion or logic? Nothing. Does the general populace know that? Nope. History The middle child (out of 5) of the Townsend family, Maria was destined to fulfill a supporting role for her eldest sibling who would become the next heir to the family crest. However, for some reason as yet unexplained to her siblings, she was selected as the heir. She was always special somehow; never having to study quite as hard as her siblings but achieving even greater results. Magecraft just came naturally to her and with some spells she didn't need an incantation but instead a mere movement of her body. She was selected for having a rare gift that essentially made her one pure, natural circuit. Her very existence could cause nature interference and thus she can create more powerful spells than other Magi. It was only natural that the Grail would choose her as a Master. This made her eldest sibling, who sees it as her stealing his very birthright, furious. Her other siblings slowly began to loathe her as well. They would often play cruel tricks on her, one of which caused a trauma so deep that she might never truly recover. Meanwhile, her education in magecraft was significantly slowed as she didn't need rigorous training. In the time between lessons, she was taught the sciences in order to better understand the concepts that make up the fabric of existence and of people. She decided that she wanted to help people and was admitted into medical school, where she got the uterus she used to summon the most well-known of assassins. Jack the Ripper! Softspoken; Well-Mannered, Polite Rheasviel is a very softspoken individual. Typically, she sports an apathetic expression that borders on bored, although under emotional stimuli, her doll-like appearance changes that to a very timid woman; her smile, although radiant enough, is as soft as her persona. Her laughs are always quiet, and she never really raises her voice. Polite at all times, her way of speaking is kind and considerate, earning her nearly automatic sympathy from even strangers, in spite of her strange, albino appearance. She is extremely well-mannered, to the point where she addresses people with honorifics even if they are socially inferior to her. Optimistic A trait she seems to share with her predecessor, Irisviel. Although she is fully aware as to why she was created - to serve as the Einzbern's tool - she doesn't seem too bothered by the idea. Rather, she embraces it completely, seeing it as a way to be useful and show her gratitude to the one who has made the miracle of life possible for her - Jubstacheit von Einzbern, family head. Although she knows she will die during or at the end of the war, she tries to make the most of what little time she has left. She is positive her death won't be for naught; "And, it won't, as long as Acht can finally see his dreams come true". Compassionate, Caring Rheasviel loves humans. She has been entranced by them ever since the second she became more than an empty thing; love was the first emotion the experienced, and compassion was the second. Although Jubstacheit views this as a potential weakness, it was to be expected that she would develop the ability to feel. Obedient Although she is a Homunculus, which would automatically make her submit to the family's elders, Jubstacheit has seen to it that she will only be under his very own command. As such, Rheasviel acknowledges no one but him as her superior and owner, and will only abide by his command. Strangely enough, the exceedingly stern, rigid, grumpy old man has a nearly soft spot for her, which causes a certain degree of leniency towards her to occur. Stubborn Although she is softspoken about it, Rheasviel is characterized by quiet stubborness. Typically obedient to Jubstacheit's orders, she will however subtly pester him until she gets to fulfill said orders her way. Usually, the old man allows it - trying to talk Rheasviel out of an idea she had formed is as easy as moving Mount Fuuji. Curious Rheasviel is easily fascinated by the most boring of subjects and objects, to the point of which her curiosity and love for new things and acquiring new knowledge makes her react like a child on Christmas morning to even a new book or location. Intelligent / Wise / Tactical By far Rheasviel's most efficient traits. She has a practical mind that was stimulated and encouraged to develop, which coupled with her vast knowledge make her an excellent strategist. She is similar to a sponge when it comes to absorbing information, and has a photographic memory; her intellect by far exceeds most people's, to the point where she is no longer just brilliant, but simply put, a genius. History: Following the end of the Fourth Grail War, Jubstacheit von Einzbern restricted Kiritsugu from seeing his and Irisviel's daughter, Illyasviel von Einzbern. The abnormal homunculus was to be used as the master in the instigated Fifth Grail War, as well as the intended vessel for the Grail. However, the little girl died under uncertain conditions, possibly because of the heavy modifications she had suffered while in her mother's womb, as well as possibly because she was born from a homunculus instead of being artificially created. Regardless, the von Einzbern head had no choice but to grunt his frustrations, waste no time on mourning his precious pseudo-granddaughter, and set to work. Past experiences had taught him where things went wrong; old man Acht was a man that prided himself with being able to learn from his mistakes. Thus, he created her - Rheasviel. The, in his eyes, pinnacle of Homunculi; the most advanced one to ever be fabricated by the Einzberns. He personally saw to it that she will not be a failure. Her evolution and came into being was all made under his watchful care. Her only design fault was the inability to conceive, but that was not much of a loss, anyway, now was it? Gifted with a ridiculous amount of Mana Circuits that make her be a walking tank, Rheasviel - or, Rhea, as he affectionately likes to refer to his pseudo-daughter when the doors are closed - was built to be a fully functional fighter; thus, the Weiss Fräulein came into being, among her more-battle oriented magic, and she was trained in both Western and Eastern main styles of sword combat, as well as being taught two different styles of weaponless combat. She was taught about the world, and Jubstacheit even took her on trips so as to instill a sense of independence into her, and to make her understand humans better. This, he thought, will make her better at dealing with her opponents when the time was to come - she was, after all, quite manipulation-oriented. Rheasviel developed her own, quite endearing personality, distancing herself from her ancestors and fellow Homunculi not only through her abilities as a magus, but through her very human-like nature. Disregarding the traditional white of the Einzbern, Rheasviel took a liking to darker colors, such as black and vermillion, byzantium violet and marine blue (although, in accordance to Jubstacheit's wishes, she still does wear the sterile white in order to appease him). She doesn't share the Einzberns' love for gold, either - she took a much higher liking to silver. Considering himself successful, the Einzbern head sent Rheasviel out to fulfill her purpose. With a soft, somewhat sad smile, the homunculus magus simply bowed her head and accepted her fate - and her oncoming death. - Weiss Fräulein A Mystic Code in the form of a rapier. - Homunculi Bodyguards Four in number - Lisbeth, Lydia, Layra and Leila. They also have the secondary, more minor role of serving as her maids. - Silver Wires Thin, long wires made from silver; Rheasviel uses these for her alchemy. - Additionally, Rheasviel has unlimited access to the Einzbern's fortune. Expertise: Fencing, Archery, Kenjutsu, Muay Thay, Karate. Magecraft: Alchemy; Puppet Creation Spells: - Transmutation of Matter - Noble Metals: An area of excellence for the Einzberns; using thin silver wires, Rheasviel can give form to pseudo-homunculi creatures (much like her predecessor, Irisviel, could do). She can also utilize these to bind her targets and keep them locked in place, as well as conjure weapons. - Transmutation of Matter - Change of Proprieties: In case she runs out of silver wire, Rheasviel can change other substances to silver and then reshape them into extra merchandise. She can also change the basic proprieties, too - such as the boiling/melting point's position or durability. - Puppet Creation - Basic Golems: Unlike Rheasviel's Gargoyle-type puppets, these can be done far more easily; although, that makes them far easier to destroy. They require much less prana than their superior counterparts, and have less refined forms - even so, Rheasviel always gives them incredibly articulate appearances. - Puppet Creation - Gargoyles: Something specific to Rheasviel. Although Jubstacheit refuses to divulge how exactly is it possible for her to posses such ability, she can. Rheasviel's gargoyles are golem-like familiars made from stone (and, sometimes, "precious" stones) that can be capable of independent thought or not, depending on their intended use; typically, their creator will give them very complex and detailed forms that closely resemble mythical animals, such as griffins or basilisks. - Weiss Fräulein, The White Maiden: The Mystic Code that Jubstacheit has had created specifically for Rheasviel. An unbreakable sword shaped into the form rapier, it has the unique propriety of being able to slash with ease through almost anything, ranging from stone to B level Barriers, so long as prana is channeled into and throughout it. Additionally, Rheasviel can easily reshape its' form at will through Alchemy into that of a katana to accomodate combat efficiency whenever she desires to switch from fencing to kendo/kenjutsu. Because I'm beautiful, duh" Cross-dresser Alinda's most obvious trait is his cross-dressing. While he can't remember exactly when he started, it is still his greatest pleasure. He feels far more comfortable in his iconic red and black dress than in any of the male clothing he has worn over the years. As a 'beautiful person', Alinda believes he should dress beautiful. Incidentally this trait, combined with his naturally androgynous appearance cause many to mistake him for female, and he seems to take great joy in telling them otherwise. Music Lover More specifically, Classical. Alinda loves classical music, and has respect for those who appreciate its beauty. He has an almost encyclopedic knowledge of classical composers and works, and can play the majority of them on command. Stubborn If Alinda has decided on something, he is not backing down. What ever order you give him, the only thing that can stop him is is own sense of danger. History Born Charles Breitzer, Alinda was the heir to a minor but well respected Magus Family originating out of Holland. For the first 19 years, his life was much like what you would expect for a Magus. The days were filled with research and training, learning the inner workings of the Clan's Magecraft. The nights with study and fractured sleep. Eventually Alinda was shipped off to the Clock Tower, to begin his formal education. He fitted in well there, made friends and even had a brief romance. While not outstanding, Alinda's scores were high and consistent. He was a hard working student, and had a bright future ahead of him. It was also around this time that his Cross-Dressing began. What originally began as a practical joke to poke fun at his androgynous appearance evolved into an unexpected hobby. He kept it a secret, of course, moving to a residence near the school and keeping all evidence hidden. It was a private joy , one he didn't share with anyone. That all changed one night. After spending far too much time shopping and having fun, Alinda rushed home to meet the curfew. While taking a shortcut, he came across an injured man lying in the street. Due to his stay in Moorwood being temporary, Alinda has yet to set one in the town, and has no real intention to. Rose Benedict Alinda's Mystic Code. It is a customized Mauser C96. Unlike regular firearms, the Rose Benedict doesn't require normal bullets, those it is capable of firing them. Instead, it acts as a sort of intermediary for casting Gandr, a Scandinavia curse that reduces the targets health. Using it, Alinda can skip the necessary casting for the spell, as well as reduce the overall cost. Rose Benedict also allows him to fire off the more powerful Fin shot at a much higher rate. Rose Magnum A personalized, and much more powerful, version of the Gandr, The Rose Magnum has the equivalent firepower of a .600 Nitro express cartridge. The shot is so powerful that the mental interference causes recoil, typically requiring both hands to use it effectively. Once fired, a 0.8 second cooldown time is needed. This is due to the recoil and heat produced from the traveling projectile. Firing multiple times in succession can cause severe damage to the Rose Benedict. Occupation: Author History: The author of the national bestseller "The Legacy of Gaea - Book One: The Sinful Fable", Morgana has been on hiatus for close to a full year now. She's actually rather wealthy now and making more money as time goes on, but all of the money in the world won't make her happy. She is one who smiles on the outside but screams on the inside.
