I mean I suppose the insanely long wait is kind of understandable what with how the series has been on hiatus for literally years... but I have a distinct feeling that volume 3 will consist entirely of chapters that were published in like, 2008 or so. Well, and perhaps a bonus chapter, I guess. Now provided that Izumi doesn't fall ill requiring another five-year hiatus, perhaps there might even be a chance of seeing a FOURTH volume before long too! I mean, I'm pretty sure the last chapter that came out was number 20... And the first two volumes combined had eleven chapters + extras... So they should have enough material for another volume before long... |

| And now it's back up on Kadokawa's site, with a listing for the 26th of February. The official Twitter-account for the series says the same thing. Plus, seeing how close that release-date is and that this announcement was made like, today, I can only assume that they've already at the very least got all the necessary files to print said volume by now. So that's a thing that's happening. At last. |

Unless another company licenses it, but to be fair, this isn't exactly a hugely famous manga in the first place... So I guess scanlations will probably be the only option. And on that note, I really should get back to work on those, as I've still got a lot of chapters that need translating... Oh, and incidentally Rei Izumi had an entry on her blog mentioning that they'll be taking a month off from their publication-schedule to work on volume 4. So that might also be coming out sometime in the not-too-distant future. |
