| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- - I read on ANN that fans were upset because they thought they were buying a sequel to Ninja Scroll, and I can somehow understand why. With the title being Ninja Resurrection - The Revenge of Jubei... - Crap-a-licious animation. - Awful soundtrack. - A Christian cross saving the "saviour" (please pardon the pun) from a bullet. I think I need some wine and crackers with that cheese. - Attackers - five people - being towed in the air on a giant kite, then descending on the castle with bat-like wings. - Jesus gets angry and summons a dragon... think Bleach's Hyourinmaru, just with brick stone instead of ice.... I wrote the above before finishing the first episode. Had I anticipated the magnitude of the sillyness that followed I wouldn't even have mentioned the kite or the dragon. I've never seen anything like this before. This show is so bad that it actually is fun to watch. |

| I can totally understand why so many people hate this but i knew what i was getting and i loved it. I would give this episode 8/10 as guilty pleasure. |
| Well that sure was quite intense if you ask me! Pretty interesting, didn't expect this to be on this extend! Quite liked it, looking forwards to see what the second episode has to offer to be honest. |

| Okay I had heard the bad things about this OVA and to that end it's mostly what I expected. What I hadn't heard though was all the Christian stuff!? Like WTF was all of that shit doing in something called Ninja Resurrection lol. I didn't much care for this OVA at all, I'm not religious so that stuff rubbed me the wrong way and while I do like Violent Anime this OVA was just gratuitous for gratuitous sake most of the time. I disagree that the Animation wasn't good though, the Animation was actually pretty great imo. But yeah I'm not really into this OVA as much as I had hoped I'd be, though I was warned that would likely be the case. |

| i don't get why people complain about the christian things showing up on the show when practically there was a christian massacre in japan historically speaking... other than that i laughed a little at the intro when it started to look like a koei simularion game like nobunaga's ambition lol but in all i find this more tolerable than let's say... sengoku basara *rolls eyes* oof. |
