| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Joe is a rather unlikable protagonist. He casually invades the privacy of people to satisfy his curiosity (which Lloyd even makes fun of him for) and when he sees the woman he's looking for drive by on the road, he nearly causes an accident to force her to stop so he can speak to her. Is he supposed to come off as an arrogant, conceited jerk? Is this (overly)comfortable existence supposed to contrast against the horrible trials that come when he gets to close to the truth? If that's why they were going for, I can't say that it worked. I just ended up disliking this annoying ass. |
