| I highly doubt it would be released on a DVD in the US, even subtitled. The entire show is aimed to be propaganda, and generally speaking, the United States (And probably anyone who are their allies) would have no interest in licensing even a subtitled version of this cartoon. The entire series has been subtitled fully in Russian, however. Not sure about Chinese. Some DVDs have been distributed from North Korea as exports in limited quantity. |

| On Youtube there is an English dubbed version of "Squirrel and Hedgehog" and there is also English, French and Russian subbed version ^^ MondoTV uploaded the whole anime like 3 months ago with better subtitles (the first version was a fan translation but the newest was done by a professional Italian studio ^^). |

Sorry the late answer ^^' So even if there is a dubbed version I highly suggest you to watch to subbed. The dubbed version was made in America so I'm pretty sure you understand there is a lot of censorship. For example in the first episode weasels have a squirrel prisonner. In the original North Korean version the weasels general say kill him to the soldiers and you can hear him dying in the back. In the US version they say release him... Anyways the censorship is really present on the american dubbed version, a problem you don't have if you watch it with English, French, Russian or Chinese subtitles ^^ |
