I've looked into clubs around MAL and saw another romantic club. I have to say that I'm happy for starting this club because the other romantic anime and manga club does not include mangas with the genre comedy even though the main plot in those mangas and animes is the love story between the protagonists.

Examples of romantic comedies:
-Midori No Hibi

Examples of romantic dramas:
-Romeo X Juliet

Would you prefer watching romantic comedies? Or Romantic dramas?

I like both but I'm a person who likes to laugh alot so I'd pick romantic comedies over dramas in any given day.

No one likes to weep over something on tv afterall! No one likes to cry AT ALL! XD
I'd like to add that the issues in most romantic drama anime such as
Bokura Ga Ita are always blown out of proportion and the solution is always there yet, the characters seem to enjoy being stuck in such situations.

I go both ways. Sometimes I like really mushy, cheesy stuff.

Then I'll watch really dark and gorey ones. xD

This is more so for Asian dramas than anime/manga.

Same! It all depends on the mood I guess. But in geenral, I'd rather watch a ronantic comedy over a romantic drama.

Either way I don't really mind. I rather like a mixture of both comedy and drama in the same show :) oh and of course romance in it too.

Going against the stream here and voting drama>comedy. I guess it might be related to the kind of thinking that if you're already at a low, the only way is up.

Romantic comedies, definitely! :D But romantic dramas are good, too! :) It's just, i'm more of a 'School Rumble' kind of person than a 'Vampire Knight' kind of person. If that makes sense. :)

Romantic comedies of course! I'm very sensible so I prefer the comedies xD

And I also cry in emotional scenes, like a kiss or a romantic hug <3

I like Romantic Drama's the most of any anime genre. Romantic comedies are fine too but in some of the ones I've seen the funny parts are forced into it and get in the way of the romantic part of the story and I really hate that
"It's not about who's right and who's wrong, there are things more important than that. That's why we need things like apologies and forgiveness. "
