(making a topic cause comments wash away relatively quickly, so people would miss it)
So, I came across this game by pure chance, I found a torrent listed on Isohunt that contained the words C72 and ARIA, that was enough to make me dwnld it :v

Upon looking it up, I found out it was this~
http://www5a.biglobe.ne.jp/~yuutaa/hp/game/aria/index.htm

after waiting days for the bloody torrent to do much, it finally finished, so I thought I'd share it here, since if anyone was gonna be interested I figured this is where I'd find them :v

Going by the C72 ver0.1 on the title screen I'd say its unfinished and there's not a whole lot to do, but its oddly enjoyable for wasting a couple spare minutes.
The first course is dull, but the later are more interesting XD

No idea what the differences in the options are, aside from 1player mode and 2player mode, and course selection.
1player controls are directional keys, then I is go... O does something... but idunno what cause I've just held I XD
*rambles on whilst waiting for the upload to finish*

Oh I'm really bad at this kind of race game, but quite enjoyable.
Here is the translation of the config.exe
キーボード key board
コントローラー joy pad
加速/決定 accelerate/select
減速/キャンセル brake/cancel
ポーズ pause
フルスクリーン full screen mode
デフォルトに戻す reset to default

looks like the games received a couple of updates and is now at version 0.3
http://www5a.biglobe.ne.jp/~yuutaa/hp/game/aria/index.htm
New characters are added, looks as if even the cats are selectable :v
and some new terrain.

Ho, even the 3 girls from the ferry are there.

I'll have to see if I can track down a more recent version.

A simplified version of the gondola racing game "AriDora" is available in the online doujin shop. It's only 105 yen (about $1). If you wanna say thank you to the programmer, Arugo-san, purchase one by credit card. They accept non-Japanese card, too. (I confirmed it by myself)

Yeah, I want to thank him, but I would prefer if somebody still uploads it. I'm not being cheap, I just don't have a credit card. And, my parents don't allow online purchasing. They're afraid of it. Like almost all hungarians. (I really have to stop this "hungarians that and that", it's start to being annoying, and it's almost like the "In Soviet Russia" meme.)

I'd rather buy the full version rather than a simplified one.
I'm all for supporting original creators... but this isn't the one I want :v

And yeah, Solais. Stop with the Hungarians :v

Aye aye, sir Foxey! I just have an exam the day after tomorrow, what I fail, I'll get dropped out from school, and it'll ruin my life. So I think this is the way I release my stress. I swear I stop with the needless random comments!

It's more like giving coins to the street performers. If you have downloaded the illegal copy from torrent, why not show your gratitude to Algo-san by paying just one buck?

BTW, I couldn't clear the 2nd stage in this simpler version. I'm so bad at action games....

@Solais
I like Hungary. One of my close friends is from Hungary (although he emigrated to Swiss when he was small) and our lab is collaborating with Hungarian mathematician. Japan and Hungary have got closer since the last ClickClickClick competition, I think.

Yeah, yeah, but enough about that. I'm talking about that too much recently, thanks to stress. You can even notice that even my english is sligthly worse.

Why don't you post pictures, or tell us about why it's a "simplified" version? I mean, how simpler can it be?

See Algo-san's introduction page for the pictures.
http://www5a.biglobe.ne.jp/~yuutaa/hp/game/aridora/index.htm
The differences from the full gondola game are
*You can choose only three characters (Akari, Aika, Alice)
*The maneuver system is totally different. If you don't type anything, the gondola goes down by itself and collide with against the wall. You need to avoid collisions by rowing upward (Z key) and adjusting the speed (Right arrow key: accelerate, Left arrow: decelerate). To clear higher level stages, you have to adjust the degree of acceleration/deceleration by Up arrow (increase) and Down arrow (decrease).

Oh, that. I already seen that, but I thought that was some kind of ver0.1.1, or the ver0.2. Or somekind of engine test. Or previous project, what "evolved" to the game what we know. Maybe I should try reading the text with babelfish, before judging what really is. -_-

(The babelfish said that this is a "drunkard game..." Wut. There's not even Alicia in the game to be drunkard.)

It oughta be great if someone translated it into English.
*scratches the head*
I'm far from professional with reverse engineering but I'll give it a try. Illegally, of course cause I simply can't ask them properly: Japanese grammar is too hard to understand and use.
Regs? My driving style, friend, is suitable for all regs, any regs, yesterday's regs, tomorrow's regs, 24 hours a day, 20 times a year.
