Oda is so smart, an animal hospital was a good call and Hideo noticed something very interesting, have we seen any zombie animals so far? |

| Cool to see someone taking the time to do a chapter discussion for I Am a Hero. It is a great manga, shame not many people have read it. I just caught up with it a few days ago. Isn't it kind of weird that his hallucinations from the first volume are just gone now? At first I thought they just kind of decided to scrap the idea of the MC being a crazy schitzo, but I have a feeling it is going to pop up again soon. I also hope that Hiromi doesn't harm Oda, I was worried when they were fighting outside the car. I love when it shows what Hiromi is seeing. This mangaka really put his all into this one, I had read Ressentiment which is by the same guy and it was good but this is a step up in a lot of ways. Ressentiment was still a great manga, it had more comedy of course. |

| Yeah, I was wondering about the same thing, he had them a couple of times since the beginning but they are mostly gone, I'm not sure whether Hanazawa just ditched them or the apocalypse forced Hideo to unconsciously suppress (?) them. I feel like it's the latter and agree with you, they are still there and we will probably see them again, might also become a plot key, for instance, he mistakes normal humans as zombies, shoots them, realizes what he has done, separates himself and goes the lone wolf route for a while and so on. Every time we see everything through Hiromi's eyes, I expect her to just kill everyone because they all look crazy. I Am a Hero is my first Hanazawa manga and I have to say it's pretty damn good. I knew it was a zombie type manga but the first volume caught me off guard because it was sort of normal except Hideo's crazy delusions and then Tekko turned into a zombie and the ball was rolling. Volume 5 and 6 were the ones that completely hooked me, it was just so sad to see Hiromi become a zombie. Hanazawa is also a really talented guy, he does so many cool things with his artwork and especially the narrative like the POV shots in the outlet mall which were great. |

| i’m assuming tsugumi is very intent on helping hiromi because she strongly believes she holds the cure to the virus? that subject hasn’t really been spoken about other than tsugumi mentioning it once at the mall |
